HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – The City Of Hancock Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a vandalism suspect.

Monday it was reported two buildings on the former campus of Finlandia University were vandalized. Obscene phrases were spray painted on Wargelin and Nicklander halls. Police believe the vandalism took 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

Police received a report of a suspicious man on the Finlandia Campus and were able to recover photographs of the male on Finlandia University cameras. The individual was seen riding away from the scene on a bicycle.

Anyone with information on the man photographed is asked to contact the Hancock City Police Department at (906) 482-3102.
