MACKINAC COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – An 18-year-old man is in custody after an investigation into a stabbing in Moran Township.
According to Michigan State Police, on August 21 troopers were called to a location in Moran township where there was an 18-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to Mackinac Straits Health System for the injury before being moved to McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
The 18-year-old alleged attacker was then arrested for attempted murder. He is lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. His identity has not been released pending his arraignment, and the investigation remains ongoing.
