LUCE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has announced the arrest of a Newberry man for possession of child sexually abusive material.
19-year-old Calvin Gerwatowski was arrested following an investigation initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force. Officials had learned that Gerwatowski may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Gerwatowski was charged with two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. He was arraigned in the 92nd District Court of Luce County on April 10.
