FORD RIVER, Mich. (WZMQ) – Over the weekend, the Ford River Lions Club celebrated the holidays with its community.
The Lions hosted their third annual Community Kids Christmas Party, with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Families rode to the clubhouse by hayride from the Ford River Pub, enjoyed lunch, decorated Christmas cookies, and made crafts.
Kids also got to take photos with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Each one took home a goodie bag made by Santa’s Lions Club elves.
The Lions say the party is a great way to bring Ford River together. They say it’s also an opportunity to make the holidays extra special for the little ones.
