GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Farmers market season is quickly approaching, and the Gladstone Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is hoping to make its market better than ever.
Vendor applications are now open for the 2025 City of Gladstone Farmers Market. The season begins on June 2nd and runs every Monday through September.
The DDA is looking for new artisans and farmers to join the market. Organizers especially hope to share more locally-grown produce with the community.
According to Downtown Ambassador Samantha Gaudino, the DDA will be enhancing the market square with new pergola structures. Plans are in the works to continue beautifying the space in the coming years.
“Our market is definitely growing,” Gaudino said. “We have live music each week and we have a lot of special events coming up this summer. It’s an amazing space for the community to gather, listen to live music, support local artisans, and shop fresh and local produce.”
Those interested in becoming a vendor at the City of Gladstone Farmers Market can visit gladstonemi.gov/dda to apply or learn more.
Vendors do not have to be available every week of the market and can choose their own availability. The DDA provides a tent, table, and two chairs for each vendor.
