GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Downtown Gladstone is gearing up for a celebration of the autumn season.
This Sunday, October 25, the Gladstone Downtown Development Authority is sponsoring the inaugural Great Gladstone Harvest Festival. Local businesses will host festive activities like pumpkin painting, lemonade “potion”-making classes, face painting, a pumpkin patch, and trick-or-treating.
One business getting in on the fun is Sip 906 Nutrition, which serves loaded teas, protein coffees and shakes, refreshers, and protein oatmeal dishes. For the Harvest Festival, the shop will offer a special menu with five new drinks, along with the return of its fan-favorite protein parfaits.
“It makes all the businesses feel a lot closer to one another, being so involved,” said owner Sage Clark. “I’m ecstatic about it, honestly. I’m so happy to be a part of something like this and be able to have these opportunities where the community comes together, and we get to see all the local businesses thrive.”
The Great Gladstone Harvest Festival will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sip 906 Nutrition will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
