UPDATE (5/26/2023): On May 26th The City of Hancock Police Department posted an update on Facebook stating that 23 year-old Mary Ylitalo was found deceased. No other information has been released at this time, next of kin have been notified, Hancock Police ask that the privacy of the family be respected during this difficult time.
HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Hancock City Police Department is asking for assistance to locate a missing 23 year old woman.
Mary Ylitalo was last seen at 7:30 p.m. on May 23rd on the 800 Block of Ingot Street in Hancock.
She is about 5’8” and weighs 150 pounds. Ylitalo has shoulder length light brown hair and may be wearing a red plaid coat.
