Hancock “Violent Domestic Assault” Update

HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – Yesterday April 4th, the male suspect in Hancock’s violent domestic assault case died.

Hancock Police Department say’s the male suspect was transferred to a second hospital due to the severity of his injuries. The injuries the male sustained were determined to be self-inflicted before arrest.

Police issued a felony warrant for his arrest before he died.

The female victim is still in recovery with her family after being discharged from Portage Health System.
