NORWAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – Multiple people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on US-2 in Norway Township Friday afternoon.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says it happened near the Vulcan BP gas station around 4:45 p.m. Few details are known at this time, but the sheriff’s office says occupants of the vehicles were injured and taken to Marshfield Medical Center- Dickinson for treatment.
After an on-scene investigation, one of the drivers was arrested for operating while intoxicated pending arraignment.
The crash is still under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Norway Police Department, Integrity Care EMS, North Alert EMS, Norway Fire Department, Joe’s Wrecker Service and Norway Auto Body Wrecker.
