MARINETTE, Wisc. (WZMQ) – A 25-year-old woman is arrested in connection to a fatal collision with a pedestrian in Marinette last July.
Alexis Clark, of Marinette, is charged with Hit and Run – Resulting in Death and Homicide by Vehicle – Use of Controlled Substance.
In the early morning hours of July 15, 2023, 48-year-old David Fournier was struck by a vehicle, driven by Clark, while he was riding a bike on the US-41 Interstate Bridge. He ultimately died of his injuries.
According to court records, Clark appeared in Marinette County Circuit Court for her arraignment Monday afternoon. Her bond was set at $2,500. The Marinette County Jail confirms she is currently in custody. She’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing on March 28.
The Marinette Police Department was assisted by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Menominee Police Department, the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office, Milwaukee Crime Lab, Marinette Fire Department, Wisconsin DOT, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
