MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette was taken over this past Saturday by the Upper Echelon car show.
85 cars from all over the midwest were on display for the hundreds of visitors that came to the first time car show. The show has been over 5 years in the works and according to organizers was a massive success. Beautiful weather gave way for a great show.
Car enthusiasts young and old were out and about in the park sharing their love of automobiles. The show ran from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“It was definitely cool to see new cars, some old cars, some cars people have really put a lot of work into to modify and make their own,” remarked Joe Boburka who won an award with his car at the show.
Organizers are already working on plans for next year’s event at lower harbor park and are hoping to draw more vehicles for next year’s show.
