ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce has a new Executive Director. Samantha LaJeunesse is taking over for Bob Hendrickson who is leaving the position to become The Trail Administrator for The Iron Ore Heritage Trail.
LaJeunesse is originally from the Houghton area, she owned and operated a small business there before moving last august. LaJeunesse worked with The GINCC previously as The Marketing and Events Coordinator.
She says she’s excited to get started working with all the GINCC members.
“My main goal is to meet with as many members as I possibly can and find out what their wants and needs are.” LaJeunesse says, “I want to make sure that we’re really appealing to them and helping them out on their way.”
LaJeunesse officially takes over at The GINCC at the beginning of July.
