POWERS, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Wisconsin man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Menominee County Tuesday morning.
The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at 11:59 a.m. at the intersection of US-2 and US-41 in Powers.
Thirty-two-year-old Joshua M. Hardin of Plymouth, Wis. was the passenger in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have notified his next of kin.
The identity and condition of the driver are unknown at this time.
The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any witnesses with information, including businesses who may have video of the crash, to contact the sheriff’s office at 906-863-4441. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee Counties Facebook page or through the Crime Stoppers app.
The sheriff’s office was assisted on the scene by the Hannahville Tribal Police Department, Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post, City of Menominee Police Department, Hermansville Rescue Squad, and Menominee County 911.
