ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – This week, crews are tearing down an Escanaba plaza to make room for a new business.
In April, Wisconsin-based TMart Operations I LLC purchased the property at 111 North Lincoln Road, which previously housed businesses like Holiday Travel & Cruise and Papa Murphy’s. Papa Murphy’s is moving to the mini-mall just around the corner, while Holiday Travel & Cruise has already relocated to the Lincoln Fair Plaza.
TMart Operations is a Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins franchise with 72 locations across Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, and Minnesota. TMart plans to open a combination Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins at the North Lincoln Road site. It will be a 2,400-square-foot building with a drive-through, a patio, and parking.
“We’ve looked along this corridor for many years and are happy to have now finally found our forever home in Escanaba where we can be a part of this amazing community,” Marketing Coordinator Traci Lloyd wrote to WZMQ 19 News. “Our company mission is to win guests through outstanding experiences, and our teams focus on this all day every day.”
Over the years, TMart Operations has won several awards, including 2020 Dunkin’ Franchise of the Year and 2024 Baskin-Robbins Franchise of the Year. The company also earned a Baskin-Robbins Philanthropist of the Year award in 2025.
TMart’s goal is to open the Escanaba location sometime this fall. However, Lloyd says many factors could impact the projected timeline.
