ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) — Out in Ishpeming, the Ski Club is getting ready for its big annual event. The 136th annual Ishpeming Ski Club Ski Jumping Tournament starts one week from tomorrow. The Ishpeming Ski Club is excited about some additions to the event including food trucks! The Ski Club’s vice president says there will also be a free shuttle service to the event from the Negaunee high school due to limited parking at the hill.
Peter Copenhaven, “We have actually three tournaments, on a weekend. We haven’t been on a weekend in least during my tenure so we are really excited about that.”
There are still button passes available for purchase, and the cost is for ages 13 and up is 15 dollars in, or 20 dollars at the gate.
