MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – United Way of Marquette County and Ore Dock Brewing Company are teaming up for Steins for Good.
The event is an inaugural Oktoberfest-inspired fundraiser on September 27th from one-to-five p.m. at Ore Dock.
Proceeds will stay local, supporting United Way’s work addressing food security, housing, youth opportunity, and other community needs across Marquette County.
Executive Director Andrew Rickauer says the goal is simple, have fun and do some good. “We’ll have different events throughout the day such as the stein holding contest, costume contest, and even pretzel eating,” says Rickauer. “Everything is going to be family friendly. We’re trying to have a good time, raise some awareness, and raise some funds for the important needs in our community.”
