NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The City of Negaunee has announced a new online resource to improve right-of-way permitting.
Requests for any construction projects within the city’s sidewalk-to-sidewalk boundaries, such as a new driveway, can now be accessed on any device, allowing for faster approvals, online mapping, and payment in one place.
The city says the new process will also allow for better record holding and tracking, to ensure the correct repairs are made to the property after completion.
“It’s to help the city keep better track and be more responsive,” said Negaunee City Manager Nate Heffron. “The city is making to sure that everything is done safely, and anything that was disturbed is restored to its previous condition or better.”
Applications can be found on the City of Negaunee website, under the public works tab.
