UPPER PENINSULA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Three Upper Peninsula residents have been arrested on felony drug distribution charges, following an Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) investigation that resulted in the seizure of approximately 1/4 pound of methamphetamine.
Several months ago, UPSET began an investigation into individuals suspected of distributing methamphetamine, primarily in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. The investigation indicated that the suspects would obtain methamphetamine from sources in the Lower Peninsula, transport the illegal drugs back to the Upper Peninsula, and then distribute them.
On October 25, the investigation indicated that the suspects were returning to the Upper Peninsula after obtaining methamphetamine from downstate. UPSET coordinated with the Michigan State Police (MSP) St. Ignace Post and the Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to complete a traffic stop.
Following the traffic stop, further investigation resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, U.S. currency suspected of being used as drug money, and other evidence suspected of being used for drug distribution.

All three individuals were lodged in the Mackinac County Jail. On October 26, they were arraigned in the 92nd District Court on the following charges:
· 36-year-old David Archambeau from Naubinway was arraigned on one count of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. His bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety, and he is due in court again on November 24.
· 32-year-old Pamela Archambeau from Naubinway was arraigned on one count of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Her bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety, and she is due in court again on November 6.
· 37-year-old Allysin Chambers from Newberry was arraigned on one count of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony. Her bond was set at $500,000 cash/surety, and she is due in court again on November 6, 2026.
