GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Although Labor Day may signal the unofficial end of many summer events, most farmers markets are still going strong into the fall.
After taking a week off for the holiday, the Gladstone Farmers Market will continue on September 14 and September 21. Vendors will also participate in a special Saturday market on September 26 as part of the City’s annual Downtown Day street fair.
Market coordinators say end-of-season patronage is especially appreciated by local farmers and artisans.
“The vendors had an amazing season up to this point,” said Downtown Ambassador Samantha Gaudino. “Trying to finish the market season strong for them is going to mean a lot to their business as we head into the off-season. We also have a lot of produce vendors who are just getting in some of the best produce, so we want to see that traffic continue.”
