ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Classic cars took over Ishpeming today, as hundreds of people came out for the 24th annual Buzz the Gut show and shine.
The event at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum brought together car enthusiasts and spectators to check out everything from classic hot rods to rare vehicles.
The show ran from four to seven, before the cars hit the road for a seven O’clock parade.
One participant, Bob Racine, says this is one car show that can’t be missed. “A lot of nice cars in this area, I don’t know what they do with them most of the time,” says Racine. “This is probably one of the ony shows that has some of these types of cars. A lot of these other shows.. these rare cars don’t come around much. It’s nice to walk around and see them and to talk to the people.”
The event also included an eight O’clock dance at the Ishpeming Elks, with music from the Swamberry Moonshine Band.
