MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 906 Adventure Team has broken ground on a long awaited trailhead project.
The organization began construction on Gluski Park on Monday morning after roughly three years of planning. The two-acre bike park will include a starting platform and multiple looped dirt routes.
Gluski park will also feature a quarter-mile track circling its recreation area, allowing for both riders and walkers to participate.The park is located near an entrance to the Noquemanon Trail Network, and will welcome all kinds of traffic.
“It’s really going to become a hub for people of all abilities and all backgrounds to gather and explore Marquette and the trail systems,” said 906AT Director of Adventure, Todd Poquette.
The park, pending weather, is expected to be rideable by November, and will be completed in the spring of 2027.
