MANISTIQUE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Schoolcraft County Fair kicked off Friday afternoon.
Work crews and exhibitors arrived at the fairgrounds early in the morning to set up the rides, prepare the snacks, and get the animals ready to show.
This year’s schedule of activities includes a dog stunt show, a petting zoo, Dueling Pianos, butterfly and ladybug encounters, a trackless train, and much more. Attendees can also enjoy food from local vendors, check out craft and artisan booths, and learn about community resources and programs.
The fair runs until 10 p.m. on Friday, July 24. The fun continues from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 25.
