NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Negaunee Eagles Club opened its doors to the community this evening as part of Pioneer Days.
The annual open house at Eagles Club Aerie 1944 drew asteady crowd throughout the day, with burgers, hot dogs, and brats on the grill and a welcoming atmosphere inside.
This year the club’s tip jar is supporting the 906 Warriors Fund, a local charity supporting veterans and active military.
“We’re out here grilling up some hot-dogs, hamburgers, brats… we’re having a good time,” says Brent Bleckiner, President of Eagles Club Aerie 1944. “We serve the community well. We have our tip jar for our charity, and folks have been kind enough to lend their help.”
Pioneer Days continues tomorrow with a parade, live music, and fireworks over Teal Lake.
