NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new robotics program is coming to Negaunee this summer, and it’s open to kids of all ages.
The Negaunee Public Library held an interest meeting this morning to introduce families to an upcoming weekly robotics club. The program is made possible through a Pizza Hut Slice of Literacy Grant – and will be split into different age groups to give kids a hands-on introduction to STEM.
“We’ll be offering this up, probably on a weekly basis,” says Jessica Holman, director of Negaunee Public Library. “It will be divided into a couple different age groups, and meeting weekly through June and July, and maybe August if people are really enjoying it and wanting to continue.”
Families who missed Saturday’s meeting can still get their kids involved, just reach out to the Negaunee Public Library for more information.
