GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – A 41-year-old man from Wakefield has been arrested for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force launched an investigation into George Hilty after learning that he may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force seized digital evidence during a search of his home, leading to his arrest.
Hilty was charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material. He was arraigned in the 98th District Court of Gogebic County on May 14.
