ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – A man is in custody after firing a gun inside an Escanaba residence on Thursday.
Around 3:44 p.m., Escanaba Public Safety was dispatched to a home on North 12th Street, where it was reported that a male subject had pointed a gun at another male. Dispatch advised officers that the gun had gone off inside the home, but there were no injuries.
The male subject was taken into custody without incident. Following an investigation, he was lodged in the Delta County Correctional Facility for felonious assault and reckless discharge of a firearm. His identity is being withheld pending arraignment.
