BARK RIVER, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new preschool is on a mission to make learning fun.
Creative Kids Preschool in Bark River offers full- and part-time care for children ages two-and-a-half and older, as well as before- and after-school care. Staff utilize the Creative Curriculum, helping children grow both academically and personally
“Growing up, I always wanted to work in childcare, so I decided to go back to school,” said Owner and Program Director Brittney Vertz. “This is my dream job. We’re loving it so far.”
Since opening the doors last month, business at Creative Kids Preschool has been off to a strong start. However, Vertz and her team hope to reach even more families in need of an educational, nurturing environment for their little ones.
“We want them to feel welcome like family,” Vertz said. “I want the parents to know that their children are safe when they come here and that they’re learning and having fun at the same time. We love kids, and we love having everybody come.”
