UPPER PENINSULA, Mich. – Aspirus Iron River and Aspirus Ontonagon Clinics are excited to announce the return of the Community Health Fair, designed to promote health and wellness in our local communities. Partnering with various health and community organizations, the event will feature health screenings, educational resources, flu shots and much more.
“We are delighted to bring the Health Fair back to the community,” said Erin Hinton, Manager – Clinics. “Our goal is to provide valuable health information, screenings, and resources in a convenient location. Attendees can look forward to a myriad of tables and departments with health screenings, information, giveaways and refreshments.”
The Health Fairs are scheduled for the following dates:
- Tuesday, October 8: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Aspirus Ontonagon Clinic, 601 S 7th Street, Ontonagon, MI 49953
- Wednesday, October 9: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

In addition to the health screenings and educational booths, this year’s Health Fair will feature Flu Shot Clinics at both locations, offered by the local health department and Aspirus Health providing attendees with an easy and accessible way to get their seasonal flu vaccination.
“We understand the importance of flu prevention, especially as we enter flu season,” said Hinton. “That’s why we’ve made it a priority to include Flu Shot Clinics at our Health Fairs. It’s part of our commitment to keeping our community healthy and informed.
