GWINN, Mich. (WZMQ) – Lucky Duckling Daycare Center in Gwinn cut its ribbon on Thursday.
The home daycare opened at the end of last month and still has quite a few open spots for kids.
Being out in the woods close to town, the owner Amy Suchan said she wants to take advantage of the nature around the house to help kids learn.
She also has a host of farm animals like chickens, turkeys, and of course ducks, for kids to interact with and help take care of.
“I would like to be able to get the kids out to help feed the animals and spend time with the animals to learn about the animals,” said Suchan. “My 11 year-old takes care of the animals most of the time so it’s been a great experience for him.”
