BRAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Sunday, September 15, firefighters extinguished multiple small fires in Brampton Township.
At 4:39 p.m., Brampton Township Volunteer Fire Department Truck 1 responded to a report of a grass fire at the intersection of M-35 and 27.15 Lane, according to Chief Patrick Young. As they extinguished that fire, officials noticed more smoke to the south and sent Truck 2 to extinguish that fire. Truck 3 extinguished multiple spot fires between the two.
Young says the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and that the fires were contained to several small areas.
