HUDSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – The man arrested during an investigation into his wife’s death was arraigned in Mackinac County District Court Thursday.
Cody Carlson, 31, is charged with one count of 2nd degree murder. Michigan State Police report his bond was denied.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information has been released at this time.

A Mackinac County man was arrested after police say his wife died at their home late Tuesday night.
Michigan State Police – St. Ignace Post says around 11:25 p.m., troopers were called to a home in Hudson Township for a reported medical issue with CPR in progress. When troopers arrived, they found a 31-year-old woman dead.
The woman’s 31-year-old husband was arrested after further investigation.
MSP says the investigation is still active and ongoing. No additional details are being released at this time.
