A Marquette-based documentary spotlighting local theatres will be airing in local theaters this week.
“Marqueetown” chronicles the storied histories of the city’s iconic theatres, the Delft and the Nordic, and the efforts to restore them to their former glory. The co-creator, Joe Beyer, shares more about the heart behind the film, which first aired at the 2023 Fresh Coast Film Festival in Marquette.
You can catch the film this week around the UP. Beyer says all the ticket sales will go to each theater.
