ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An addiction recovery and homelessness assistance organization is no longer using the Wonderland Motel as an overnight shelter.
A 19 News investigation into claims of assault, disorderly conduct, and trespassing at the motel revealed 17 police calls and seven arrests at the property within a 30-day period earlier this year.
Superior Connections’ board of directors confirmed to 19 News on Wednesday that it is no longer utilizing the Wonderland Motel. The board also confirmed executive director Ryan Redmond is no longer employed by Superior Connections.
Superior Connections says it is going through a transitional period as it works to restructure operations.
