ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – Monday, March 25 is Oberon Day, the unofficial first sign of spring in Michigan. However, with the weather looking more like winter, an Escanaba brewery has postponed its celebration until Friday, March 29.
Upper Hand Brewery invites the community to celebrate the annual release of Bell’s Oberon Ale from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Oberon Day has been a tradition in Kalamazoo for years, and this will be the Upper Hand Taproom’s second annual event.
Guests can enjoy the original Oberon Ale, as well as Oberon Creamsicle. The event will also feature live music by The Wallens. Upper Hand encourages attendees to wear their shades and beachiest outfits to summon that warm weather Michigan always expects with Oberon’s yearly release.
