WETMORE, Mich. (WZMQ) – At approximately 1:10 pm on Thursday, January 25, crews from the Munising Township Fire Department were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at Hiawatha Log Homes.
The Munising Fire Department was also dispatched to help on the scene, as the structure was fully engulfed when they arrived.
The fire was extinguished at approximately 7 pm. The building is considered a total loss.
Other Alger County fire departments also assisted at the scene.
