LAURIUM, Mich. (WZMQ) – According the the Michigan State Police, a Laurium couple has been arrested for child sexually abusive material.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has announced the arrest of William Nicholas Horner, 43, and Stacey Jean Horner, 42, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.
The Horner’s were arrested following an investigation which initiated when it was learned they were viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet. A search of their residence resulted in digital evidence being seized.
Both William and Stacey Horner were charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material-aggravated possession, and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. The Horner’s were arraigned in the 97th District Court on Friday, January 19.
If convicted, the Horner’s face up to 10 years in prison for the charges of child sexually abusive material, and 10 years in prison for the charges of using a computer to commit a crime.
