MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum is hosting the Celebrity Art Auction for its 20th year, next Thursday, December 7th. The museum doors will open for the public at 5:30 PM and the auction will begin at 7:00 PM.
Yearly, the event brings hundreds of community members and business leaders to support the museum. Over 20 items and experiences will be up for auction this year such as a styling clothing artist, 906 adventure team experience, and professional chef services.
The Director, now in her second year with the Museum said the tradition has always been a big hit and a great time supporting the community.
“It is local celebrities of sorts one of our artists is offering a full check meal she’s a chef and she’s offering an amazing meal that you can have so some of them are art pieces we have photos, we have paintings things like that but the most of this is people doing what’s important to them and what their good at,” commented Upper Peninsula Childrens Museum Director Jessica Hanley.
The Museum will also have a basket raffle that the community can take part in as well. Click here, for more information on the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum Celebrity Art Auction.
