SANDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – Marquette’s local animal shelter is opening up an annual holiday shop. It’s the UPAWS Holiday Pop-Up Shop, bringing holiday-themed pet supplies and merchandise for pet lovers throughout the UP.
This year, UPAWS will bring back its Holiday Pop-Up Shop, but will now be located at the UPAWS location in Sands Township in their community room. From Black Friday through December, the community can take advantage of 10% off all retail at the shelter.
The community can enjoy shopping for specialty items like coffee mugs, glassware, and even tote bags for their furry family. “Ann usually heads it by herself you know we have some great volunteers to help but pet-themed clothing apparel, mugs, puzzles I mean you name it she’s got it out there so everyone that wants to come out support us gets some great holiday gifts get some really cool stuff and we really appreciate it,” commented UPAWS Manager Ryan McLaren.
Black Friday hours for UPAWS will be Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM.
