ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – One man has been arrested following a stabbing that occurred Thursday evening in the city of Escanaba.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., Escanaba Public Safety Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 1st Avenue North for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a male subject who had been stabbed on his forearm. He was transported to OSF St. Francis by Rampart for treatment.
Officers learned that multiple weapons were involved in the incident.
One male subject was arrested, and more charges are pending.
Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by Rampart, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, and the Michigan State Police.
