MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new corner food stand is bringing some classics up to Michiganders. It’s a new food stand called “Lucky Dogs 906“, following the popular food truck scene in the City of Marquette. Tuesday was their second pop-up on Third Street, offering chili dogs, authentic onion-filled Chicago hot dogs, and walking tacos.
Owners commented that even on their first day, July 2nd, the stand sold out within 4 hours. “I’ve seen a need for basically a Chicago dog I know a lot of people that love them that I’ve been there and there really hasn’t been a place to get them around here. We’re just starting out so we’ve got a pretty great reception so far by the community we’re gonna see how it goes and as it grows yeah I mean it could be an actual truck someday down the road or maybe even a restaurant we’ll see,” commented Lucky Dogs 906 Owner James Faccio.
Lucky Dogs is currently working on some new recipes for hot dogs.
