POWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Negaunee man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after crashing his ORV over the weekend.
Marquette County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Trail 14 near County Road 550 in Powell Township on Saturday, June 10 around 8:30 p.m.
A 25-year-old man was driving south on the trail when he lost control and rolled the machine.
His passenger was transported to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening.
The driver was later arrested for operating while intoxicated.
The crash is still under investigation.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Powell Township Fire/EMS, UP Health System Marquette, and Marquette Detailing.
