ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – The U.P. State Fair has announced its Saturday grandstand entertainment act.
Switchfoot will perform on the grandstand stage on Saturday, August 19. The band’s thirteen studio albums have sold almost 10 million copies worldwide. Switchfoot has also performed sold-out tours with more than 5 million tickets sold in over 40 countries.
To date, Switchfoot has raised more than $2 million to aid children in their community through their BRO-AM Foundation. The band consists of singer and guitarist Jonn Foreman, bassist Tim Foreman, guitarist and keys player Jerome Fontamillas, and drummer Chad Butler.
Gold circle tickets for Switchfoot’s 8:00 p.m. performance on August 19 go on sale on Thursday, June 1, at 10:00 a.m. Gold circle tickets are $15 each and are available through this year’s presenting sponsor, Island Resort and Casino. Click here to purchase gold circle tickets.
