Expanding Family Business Makes a Splash at Fumee Falls

Dozens of hikers were out at the Upper Michigan Roadside Park when a mother-daughter duo stopped by to visit their family member who lives near the waterfalls. Cali Davis, Sales Support for Elevated Exotics, was excited to visit her brother and see the new shop in Escanaba. She noted the temperature difference by the waterfalls and enjoyed looking at the different stones with iron ore and all their pretty colors.

Barb Niesen-Davis, co-owner of Elevated Exotics, accompanied her daughter to the falls. She shared that their family business was in the process of expanding and officially opening a new shop in Escanaba on the twenty-eighth, while their existing shop in Republic has a cultivation center as well.

“The waterfalls. Michigan is so beautiful. It has so much to offer. I mean, everybody comes here. It’s gorgeous,” Barb Niesen-Davis said, regarding what inspired the pair to take a break from delivering coolers to visit the refreshing falls.

The new shop in Escanaba will be retail-only, but their cultivation center in Republic will continue to operate.
