Frosty Treats is open for the season

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette favorite is back open for the season. Frosty Treats welcomed its first customers of the season Wednesday.

The customers were excited to share their excitement for opening day.

One said, “Oh my gosh, Frosty Treats is open!”

Another told us why she was there, “I really like ice cream.”

When one child pulled in the parking lot with her mom and saw people in line she said, “Like, its open.” Bouncing with excitement she added, “I am so excited!”

One returning customer said, “I didn’t really know it was open, but I am really excited to have it again.”

One boy told us he was so sad when it closed last year and said, “I haven’t gone here in a super long time.”

Another boy already enjoying his chosen treat, stopped briefly to tell us, “I love this.”

Experiencing Frosty Treats for the first time, one student said, “I’m actually an exchange student from Japan, so it’s super special. So special she says she will come as many times as she can before she goes back home.

The last customer said this day is far better than when they close at the end of the year.

Frosty Treats employees say it is great to be back open. The ice cream stand will be open daily from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
