MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Friends of the Peter White Public Library finished up their used book sale on March 18th and raised over $5,000 dollars. These funds distributed by the Friends help the library support things like their winter and summer reading programs, as well as add items to what’s known as the “Library of Things”.
This unique selection has ukuleles, a roasting, and even polaroid cameras for people to rent from the library. “Our Library of things, which is a really cool collection here at the library that started out with cake pans and telescopes, and now we have microscopes a yooper light hunting kit, an ice cream maker, and a ghost hunting equipment kit too if anybody’s interested in getting into that or trying it out,” said Development Director Heather Steltenpohl.
This weekend the PWPL will be screening the 2023 Oscars’ Everything Everywhere All at Once for all adults and seniors. Click here for the upcoming event calendar at the Peter White Public Library.
