ESCANABA, Mich. – On Thursday, Dec. 29 at 2:06 a.m., Public Safety Officers stopped a motor vehicle in the 700 block of North Lincoln Rd.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the findings of approximately 1 ounce of methamphetamine.
The female driver and male passenger were subsequently taken into custody and lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility.
The female driver, Brittney Schneider, was arraigned on Thursday in the 94th District Court and has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine as well as maintaining a drug vehicle. The male passenger, who is yet to be arraigned, is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office as well as Delta County Prosecutors Office.
The investigations is on going at this time.
