NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The City of Negaunee is planning a temporary power outage for some residents on Sunday, Sept. 25.

The outage will begin at 7:30 a.m. for south of US-41 from Baldwin Ave. to Teal Lake Ave. and will extend south to Buffalo Rd. and County Rd.

There will be two brief outages on circuits 3 and 4 that will last approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

The city said the outages are necessary to complete essential replacement of electrical components associated with those two circuits.

Once the work is complete, there will be another outage to return circuits 3 and 4 back to normal operations. The project should take approximately three to four hours in entirety.

Anyone with questions can contact the Department of Public Works at 906-475-9991.
