ST. IGNACE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Early Friday morning, the Mackinac Bridge closed to traffic due to weather conditions.
The Michigan Department of Transportation announced the closure at 4:50 a.m. The Mackinac Bridge Authority states that “hazardous ice” is falling from the bridge cables and towers.
