The Concert on the Steps series continues with or without rain

MARQUETTE, Mi. (WZMQ)—The Peter White Public Library hosts the Concert on the Steps series for another summer, performing every Wednesday, no matter the weather. Every week, a new band or artist performs. This week, a local band, the Cloverlands, played through the rain.

The Cloverlands, an indie, soul, bluegrass group, played for the first time at the Concert on the Steps series and did not disappoint as they played through the unpredictable weather. As a band member shared, thankfully, their band has played through worse.

“Really just a lot of gratitude for the Peter White Library. They put on such a great show, and they really create a space not just for musicians but for community members and artists in general,” Kerry Yost, Cloverland member.

The next Concert on the Steps is July 9th with the group Black Pearl performing. More information can be found on the Peter White Library Website. The band Cloverland plays on July 3rd at the Escanaba Library, and then on July 4th down at Lower Harbor before the Laser show. Additional information can be found on their website.
