ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Early this afternoon the Marquette County Medical Care Facility (MCMCF) was temporarily closed to visitors due to police responding to an emergency at a nearby address. The facility was re-opened at 12:45 p.m. and said all residents are safe.
According to the Ishpeming Police Department, rumors regarding an active shooter in the area are untrue and the emergency is resolved. They are not releasing any other details at this time.
